AIM FINE ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS


Greetings!


AIM Scholarships is an endowment established by Arts In Motion to provide tuition assistance to students matriculating in the Fine Arts.  


                                                                                                                                                        

Open to public high school students and recent graduates from Washington, D.C., Montgomery County, and Prince George's County.

Applicants must have current a 3.5 GPA or higher. Provide an official transcript with your application.

 

Scholarship

Tuition assistance of $5,000 will awarded in two tranches.  Awardees must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher to receive the second installment. A verifiable transcript must be submitted.

Eligibility                                                                                                                                                                               To be eligible, applicants must enroll in a program, starting in the 2024/2025 school year, leading to a Fine Arts degree in one of the following fields: voice, performance, music, dance, drama, architecture, and or graphic arts. Students are required to have and maintain a 3.5 GPA. Applicants must provide an official high school transcript, an acceptance letter from the prospective institution, and a portfolio or video showing abilities in their field.

                                                                                                                                                                              Awardees must be available to give a presentation in person on June 23 to the Leisure World community in Silver Spring, Maryland to their scholaraships. Students will be notified of their awards by May 17. If under 18, awardees must be accompanied to the awards ceremony by a parent, guardian, other responsible adult.
